\"Suse<\/div>[\/vc_column][vc_column width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text]After my apprenticeship as a bookbinder, in 1986, I founded my own paper manufactory \u201cSchachtel & Schachtel\u201d and specialized in design and production of high-quality handcrafted boxes.<\/p>\n

My collections have been shown at trade fairs and exhibitions in Germany and abroad and are sold also in the MOMA Museum Shop in New York.<\/p>\n

My first camera was a Kodak Instamatic, a gift I received when I was very young. It had only two exposure settings, sunny or cloudy; compared to modern technical standards it was a kind of Camera Oscura. At that time, I started thinking and researching about \u201chow do I see and what do I see\u201d So, from my first self-earned money, I finally bought a SLR camera.<\/p>\n

Coming from material handcrafting, I particularly perceive haptic and texture. I\u2019m interested in corresponding structures and their reduction, the abstract, which stands as a part for the typological whole:<\/p>\n

human acting and being connected with the emotionality of a situation,
\nshortly, the essential behind the obvious.<\/p>\n

I like to experiment, but I don\u2019t edit my pictures. Since I have been photographing analogue for a very long time, I like to define my picture, or a section, the moment I press the shutter release button. An exception are the kaleidoscopes, which have been created on the computer.<\/p>\n

Fabric Kaleidoscopes, in 2007, was my first exhibition, behind which stands a very personal story.<\/p>\n

In 2014 I graduated in Photography at the \u201cHamburger Fernakademie\u201d, and since then my works have been shown in Munich, Berlin and Hamburg.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row bg_type=”color” bg_color=”rgba(141,167,170,0.57)” padding_top=”50″ padding_bottom=”50″ margin_bottom=”0″][vc_column width=”1\/3″]

My photographs are FineArtPrints on handmade paper. Durch die besondere Drucktechnik auf dieses hochwertige matte Papier entsteht eine hohe Farbintensit\u00e4t und eine samtig anmutende Oberfl\u00e4che.
\nDie Auflagen sind limitiert auf 5 oder 10 St\u00fcck.
\nDie Gr\u00f6\u00dfen sind variabel von ca. 30 x 40cm bis 100 x 180 cm, pur oder mit Passepartout\/Holzrahmen oder aufgezogen auf Aludibond k\u00e4uflich erwerbbar. Prices range from 250 \u20ac to 2,000 \u20ac.<\/p>\n
